Specialisations and Electives

The Certificate III in Individual Support in Sydney requires completion of 15 units of competency:

  • 9 core units

  • 6 elective units

You must also complete a minimum of 120 hours of vocational work placement in a relevant care setting.

Choose all units from Group A for this specialisation:

Certificate III in Individual Support Disability – Group B Electives

Choose all units from Group B for this specialisation:

Certificate III in Individual Support Ageing and Disability

To complete a dual specialisation, choose all electives from Groups A and B. This opens up opportunities across the entire individual support sector.
